Our gorgeous ‘Harris Tweed’ dog harness is made with genuine ‘Harris Tweed’ sourced direct from the mills in the Outer Hebrides. ‘Harris Tweed’ is a naturally hard wearing fabric and is handwoven giving that unique and luxurious quality.

It features 2 sturdy metal side release clips so that they can be put on either over the head or as a step-in harness, and can be adjustable in 3 places to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for your dog.
A matching collar, lead and dickie bow are available to compliment this harness to make your dog even more dapper!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to all harnesses being custom made based on sizes that you provide, we are unable to provide refunds on harnesses, but if for whatever reason the harness does not fit, we will happily adjust it to ensure the correct fit. Return postage is the responsibility of customer.

How do I measure my dog?
To ensure that you can be sure of the correct size it is always best to measure your dog’s neck using a soft tape measure. There are 3 measurements that we need and these have been indicated on the diagram which we recommend you refer to, but should you be unsure at all, please contact us for any guidance.
handmade.dog ‘Harris Tweed’ Harness Measurements
Measurement A – Neck Size
Measure around your dog’s neck in the usual place your dog wears his/her collar with a soft tape measure. If you are measuring your dog’s existing collar, please measure from the very end of the buckle or clasp to the eyelet currently used or end of clasp.
Measurement B – Girth
Measure around your dogs belly just behind the front legs and over the back.
Measurement C – Chest
Measure underneath the chin from where your dog’s collar sits, down the front of the chest, between their front legs to just behind their front legs.
Our ‘Harris Tweed’ dog harnesses are treated with a high quality fabric protector to help repel dirt. However, should your pooch get mucky, their harness can be hand washed in warm water, or machine washed on a cool or wool wash and left to air dry to bring them back to perfect condition.
All items are handmade to order.
Due to the work involved for harnesses to be made our turnaround time for harnesses is approximately up to 3 weeks but we will always do our best to make and post out as quickly as we can.
